Formed by poet Jessica Care Moore and rock singer Steffanie Christi’an, the Detroit-based duo combines the aggression of hard rock with the raw emotion of poetry to present their own explosive music. This project exemplifies the Black rock aesthetic with fearless vocals and Baraka-style rapid-fire poetics, unapologetically conveyed on their self-titled debut album, which features appearances from artists like Talib Kweli and LL Cool J.
