A2SF Series & Programs

Today, A2SF produces two concurrent programs, one ticketed, and one free outdoor at various venues and spaces across the University of Michigan campus and across Washtenaw County.

The ticketed series includes performances of world-class music, dance, theater, and comedy. The outdoor program at Top of the Park, is held along a beautiful campus green and offers admission-free concerts, movies under the stars, open-air spectacles, and unique family attractions.

KidZone

KidZone is the ultimate adventure space for our youngest guests. Enjoy hands-on crafts with Japan Week and Riverside Arts Center, spend time with Therapaws pups, and try instruments at A2SO’s petting zoo. Every moment invites play, learning, and memorable moments for families.

The Annex

Discover performances and installations from UMMA with Holly Bass, the Bike Pavilion with Common Cycle, local artist Asha Jordan’s Being Black in America: Washtenaw County, along with stand-up comedy, AADL’s Nerd Night and World Famous Trivia, and FOUND Magazine & Friends hosted by Davy Rothbart.

Retreat

Unwind on the Power Center lawn with a vibrant mix of wellness classes. From yoga and swing dance to capoeira, and more, each evening session is led by passionate local instructors. Move, breathe, and connect in this energizing outdoor experience designed to uplift your body, mind, and spirit.

Movies by Moonlight

Celebrate Holidays in June! This year’s lineup features films that feel delightfully out of place for summer and, therefore, exactly right. Expect festive chaos, heartfelt moments, and romantic misadventures, usually reserved for chillier months. Holidays aren’t about dates, but about sharing moments together.

After Dark

When the bands wind down, the real heat begins. Slide into the Grove for late-night vibes with the area’s hottest DJs spinning House, Hip-Hop, and Latin beats. Sip, sway, and keep the night going under the stars as Friday and Saturdays come alive.

Tastings

Stop by the Grove to savor fine wines, Michigan craft beers, and unexpected pairings. Connect with local favorites like HOMES and Monahan’s, and enjoy this season’s partner Griffin Claw, featuring A2SF’s special brew, Jam Sesh.

Ticketed Events

With 90% of our 200+ events free to the public, A2SF is committed to providing access to all members of our community.

By offering complimentary and low-cost tickets to students and disadvantaged residents with our Good Neighbor Ticket Program and Student Ticket Program, we are able to provide an invaluable opportunity to concert-goers whose financial and/or social situation would otherwise prohibit them from attending a ticketed event and enjoying the festival experience.
