Little Miss Ann

Genre: Children’s Music
A2SF is delighted to welcome back Little Miss Ann for a fun family music event that is sure to have everyone dancing, singing, and clapping along! Ann Torralba, aka Little Miss Ann, is a nationally touring Chicago-based Filipina-America kids musician with eight award-winning albums of upbeat, genre-spanning family music under her belt. As a former Chicago Public School teacher, an instructor at Chicago’s revered Old Town School of Folk Music, social justice activist, and governor for the Recording Academy, Little Miss Ann’s music contains inspirations from all aspects of her life. Her band has played everywhere from Lollapalooza Kids Stage in her home town of Chicago to Austin’s SXSW and the Getty Museum in LA! Whether Ann is singing about Ube, a Filipino purple yam, or about welcoming the seasons, her musical themes and good vibes will inspire kids to let their light shine in their own families and communities! Come bring your family out to see the Little Miss Ann Band at A2SF so they can clap, jump, dance and sing along this summer!
Kids Rock is presented in partnership with the Ann Arbor District Library.
