Michigan natives Joe Hertler & The Rainbow Seekers bring their joyfully exuberant live show to A2SF’s Rackham Stage this summer. Lead singer and songwriter Hertler formed the band eight years ago, soon growing its membership to include guitarist Ryan Hoger, keyboardist Micah Bracken, saxophonist Aaron Stinson, and drummer Ryan McMahon. Their musical influences run the gamut from Detroit’s own Motown to folk, Americana, and even funk, imbuing their music with a sense of pure enjoyment and fun-loving sensibility. Honing their performance skills at Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, and Summer Camp, the Rainbow Seekers view their live show as the band’s purpose, feeding off the energy of the crowd and serving it right back to grooving audiences. 2024’s Pursuit of Wonder is their latest release, thirteen toe-tapping songs of funky indie pop rock. Sure to be full of rapturous frequencies and unbridled enthusiasm, their live set is not to be missed!
