Don’t miss the genre-hopping sonic fusion of Detroit-based Chirp, a four-piece band that’s as comfortable with progressive rock as they are with funk, jam bands, and jazz fusion. Through it all, their dynamic sound maintains a melodic center. The group, composed of Jay Frydenlund, Brian Long, Sam Naples, and Patrick Blomme, performs a wide array of both originals and covers in their high-energy live sets, channeling the power of harmonizing grooves alongside their technical prowess. Chirp has been hard at work since its formation in 2015, touring and recording consistently since the project began–including their debut performance at their hometown festival in 2018, Live at Ann Arbor Summer Festival.
