Annie Bacon & her OSHEN make her A2SF debut this summer! A writer and songwriter living in Ann Arbor via Maine and San Francisco, she blends a literary writing style with a distinctly Americana-infused folk-rock sound to create rich and emotionally complex music. As gorgeous as it is big-hearted, Bacon’s music exists in the heartland-to-alternative rock lineage that starts with Bruce Springsteen and leads up to Sharon Van Etten. Her most recent album is 2024’s Storm, praised for its sophisticated songwriting, nostalgic elegance, and emotional poignancy. Through vulnerable lyrics and expressive instrumentation, Bacon explores grief, heartbreak, and loss with music that soars. The OSHEN for this set will be Annie, Cat Crocetto, and Michael Harrington.
