For everyone’s comfort and safety, please respect the following rules:

  • No wheels in event areas — Walk bikes and carry rollerblades/skateboards; bike racks are located throughout the site.
  • No dogs or pets allowed — Only service animals are allowed.
  • No smoking — Top of the Park and the entire U-M campus are smoke-free.
  • Shirts and shoes are required.
  • No wading or playing in the fountain.
  • No tree climbing.
  • No alcohol outside the fenced beverage garden and none that wasn’t purchased on-site.
  • No outside solicitation or unauthorized vending within one block of Top of the Park.
  • Small, hand-held umbrellas only — Please leave large lawn umbrellas at home.

Helpful Tips

  • Admission is free, but your support is vital – donations of $10 are encouraged every time you visit.
  • Show your support — Wear your “I Donated” sticker with pride!
  • Enjoy local eats – Visit Culinary Row on Washington Street where vendors serve delicious food each season, alongside A2SF’s beverage stands. Supporting them helps keep Top of the Park high quality and free.
  • Cash, Credit Cards, and Apple and Android Pay are accepted for donations, merchandise, beverages, and by all food vendors. 
  • Lost & Found and First Aid are at the Information Tent.

What to Bring

  • Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses
  • Lawn blanket, stroller, wagon, folding chair
  • Photo ID (for beverage garden access)
