About Mike Clark: Mike Agent X Clark is a Detroit DJ and producer who has been dubbed the city’s “Ambassador” in the underground music community. Clark’s upbringing surrounded him with the electrifying energy of jazz, funk, and disco, and he began his DJ career at the age of 13. He played in underground parties and turntablist showcases, eventually joining the Direct Drive DJ Collective and studying under Detroit’s legendary “1st DJ” Ken Collier and New York icons Tony Humphries and Larry Levan. By merging Chicago house with the Euro-disco and progressive sound popular in Detroit, Clark became a major figure in the birth of Detroit techno alongside other DJs such as Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunders, Blake Baxter, and Eddie Fowlkes. He has produced and remixed for Mad Mike Banks’ Underground Resistance label, formed the alias Underground Resistance label with “Members of House” singing group, and teamed up with Carl Craig’s Planet E label. Clark also founded Beatdown Sounds, the true sound of Detroit, which launched their first residency at Club OneX on Michigan Ave in Detroit’s Cork town neighbourhood. About Walter Glasshouse: Walter Glasshouse is an underground curator of the Detroit scene with over a decade of events produced and played. Working with such artists as Omar-S, Roger Sanchez, T-1000, Delano Smith, Jake The Rapper, The Stanton Warriors, Marcellus Pittman, Rick Wilhite, Roy Davis Jr, Araab Muzik, and Erika of IT. His last tour brought him to Germany, The Czech Republic, and France where played alongside Carl Craig, Underground Resistance, and Derrick May at Festival Les Escales in Saint Nazaire. Recently featured on 313.FM, and FOX2 – The Nine, Walter stays dedicated to the city that raised him. He is also a spokesperson and talent consultant for the Chari Vari music festival in downtown Detroit.
