About Ben Scott: So many genres, so little time. Good thing DJ Ben Scott as become more than adept at playing the kind of music that makes it impossible to leave the dance floor. There’s no mistaking the pure passion and love for sharing sonic heartbeats with fellow music lovers when Ben plays. Weaving you on a journey thought Nu Disko, Disco, House, and Techno it all feels like being in the right place at the right time.

It’s no surprise that Ben had acquired his first record at the tender age of 10 under the influence of his mom’s choice of Oldies, Soul, and Disco. Officially becoming a Michigan resident in 1995 he began his DJ career four years later. One can definitely hear Ben’s early influencers and mentors in his sets, which include the likes of John Acquaviva, Frankie Knuckles, Michael Gray and Richie Hawtin, to name a few. A familiar face buying records at Spotlite in Detroit Ben can be seen crate digging for labels like Defected, Prelude, and more.

Make no mistake: DJ Ben Scott really is having the time of his life with each DJ set he plays. Meticulously crafted and in anticipation of the dance he wants to do with the crowd, Ben’s drivers for each set are simple: “there’s no face, race, or division when it comes to the love of music and how it makes one feel.” That’s why, friends, you can’t help but smile your way through Ben’s dance-driven sets.

About Dan Bain: Dan Bain says that DJs just play other people’s music.  His humility, however, cloaks the fact that his DJ sets sound like his own harmonious song.  Vocals that ripple, keys that drip, and buoyant percussion are the standard to this Detroit native.

Bain cannot be whittled down to a genre.  Having traversed the dunes of house and techno, to the crest of indie and trip-hop, he maintains a unique presence.  His sense of victory comes by reaching even one person in the audience, although the majority hold on for the duration of the set.  His sonic language comforts the dancer who is heartbroken, gyrates the weekend warrior, enlightens the lost, and flirts with the rest, even leaving his own heart on the dance floor.

With an ever-expanding music collection that includes his favorite 45s, Dan’s depth of knowledge hints at an insatiable quest of the universal language.  On any given night, whether his message is through hip-hop, heartfelt house, or the quickened pace of techno, there is always a gentle let-down, but never a conclusion.  You’ll have to return for the next chapter in the story.

About Golden1: Mike was musically brought up playing the drums and educated on all genres of music but mostly aimed at the blues, jazz, rockabilly, funk, soul, house and hip-hop. Which is where he gets his unique blend of sound for his mixes. He has been playing sets in the Detroit scene since the underground warehouse parties in the late 90’s. Coming up strong to the scene under the name “theGOLDN1”

Playing along side some of the greats in the industry such as Detroit’s own Terrence Parker, Johnny Fiasco, Jay West, John Acquaviva, Big Cee…just to name a few.
